Description

A.  In 19.4, the following paragraph appears twice:

"Although the names of compiler directives are contained in the same
name space as text macro names, the names of compiler directives are considered
not to be defined by `ifdef, `ifndef, and `elsif."

It appears both before and after the paragraph beginning,

"The `ifndef, `else, `elsif, and `endif compiler directives work together
in the following manner:"

B. Are the paragraphs beginning

"The `ifdef, `else, `elsif, and `endif compiler directives work together
in the following manner:" and

"The `ifndef, `else, `elsif, and `endif compiler directives work together
in the following manner:"

really necessary?

Maybe the first two paragraphs of 19.4 are sufficient.

C.  Assuming that these two paragraphs remain, I propose that
where "ifdef", "ifndef", "elsif", and "else"
appear in fixed-font (without back-tic), they be changed to "`ifdef",
"`ifndef", "`elsif", and "`else" in Bold Times font
(with back-tic).

Fix

19.4 paragraph appears twice:

"Although the names of compiler directives are contained in the same
name space as text macro names, the names of compiler directives are considered
not to be defined by `ifdef, `ifndef, and `elsif."

FIX:
Remove first copy of paragraph.

REPLACE occurances of "ifdef", "ifndef",
"elsif", and "else" in fixed-font (without
back-tic) in 19.4, in paragraphs beginning with "The `ifdef,
`else, `elsif, and `endif compiler directives work together in
the following manner:"

WITH:
"`ifdef", "`ifndef", "`elsif", and
"`else" in Bold Times font (with back-tic).
