Number: 284 Category: errata Originator: hgupta@cadence.com Environment: Description: The VPI vpiUseBinding property discussed in Section 13.6 is not defined either in the VPI Object data model diagrams in Section 26.6, or in the vpi_user.h in Annex G. The proposal is to eliminate this vpiUseBinding property. The vpiUseBinding property is expected to return the library.cell binding information for a module instance. However, this can, also, be obtained through a combination of, currently defined, VPI properties, namely, vpiLibrary and vpiCell. |

remove the line: vpiUseBinding - the library.cell binding information for a module instance from section 13.6. In the second paragraph of section 13.6, "new vpiProperties" should be "VPI properties". Also the font should match that of the rest of the sentence. |
